Oh my goodness! The excitement of moving into your first apartment knowing that it’s ALL yours and YOU decide what you want in it. That was probably my favorite part about moving out (aside from the fact that it was with my boyfriend). I love how you can be so thoughtful and intentional about the pieces you use in the day to day.

Wooden Spice Rack
This spice rack is perfect for someone just starting off as it features 20 different spices which includes most common ones such as Basil, Turmeric, Red Pepper Flakes, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder and Paprika. I also love how the containers it come with are glass and the lids are stainless steel and pre-labelled which make them so useful as well as appealing
Crockpot slow-cooker
So affordable and so many uses. I love this thing. You have countless options for easy amazing meals. All you need to do is add your ingredients in before you leave in the morning and you come back to some amazing home cooked meals. Such a great item to have in your kitchen for those days where cooking just sounds like the last thing you want to do.
Bar Set
I don’t know about you, but something about having a bar set just “screams” grown-up. Even though most times I opt for a quick mix of Gin and Ginger ale, I do love trying out margarita recipes in this. The reason why I recommend this particular one thought is because I love the individual size. I can make all my guests a different drink with no waste. Easy to clean and did I mention that this one has a natural wood holder which matches the rest of my decor? So pleasing to my aesthetic loving self!
Pull Out Garbage Bin
Ok, so maybe this one is not exactly an essential, it definitely takes a regular kitchen to an elevated one. I think it’s such a good idea to consider hiding your garbage can in some way. I really don’t like the look of a garbage can all out in the open, no matter what it looks like! It’s considerably a small investment to have a cleaner, more elegant looking kitchen. The best part it allows renters the ability to have that “built in” garbage bin look.
Meat Thermometer
When I say this is a life-changer, I MEAN this is a life changer! Imagine cooking a perfectly moist chicken breast every. single. time. Imagine having the most tender, melt-in-your-mouth steak without having to be a 5-star chef! This thing literally changed our lives. I can’t tell you how much you’re going to love it, you need to try it out for yourself. Thank me later.
Cordless Milk Frother
This little gadget single handedly helped us through quarantine of 2020. We were getting by by making some lovely Greek Frappes with this frother and drinking them on the front balcony. Totally a game changer for cold and hot coffees alike. Also super functional for those of you who enjoy whipped Matcha. One of the best features of this thing is that it is re-chargeable. The charge lasts super long too so you can have many many coffees before this baby needs to be hooked up the the outlet. It also come with a small mixer head which is perfect for eggs.

I gotta say, I’m pretty obsessed with these! They are such a great (dupe?) for the Crate and Barrell glass with this shape. Is it really a “dupe” though if prices are similar? Let me know what you think in the comments below. I can’t say much but praise the look of these lovely things. I mean they are also super sturdy as well and have been holding up well to our frequent wine drinking 🙂
Cordless Hand-Mixer
So what first attracted me to this hand-mixer was it’s look. I love that its all white! But apart from the aesthetic part, these work great. Love the fact that they are re-chargeable and cordless. They also come with a bread mixing piece. Check this out, you won’t be disappointed!
